Hôtel ChezJeanne, recognizable by its beautiful facade with blue shutters, is a historic building dating back to 1900. Designed to make you feel "at home," this unique hotel with authentic charm offers a friendly and cozy atmosphere, ideal for resting after a long day at the convention. You might even cross paths with Obby, the adorable chihuahua mascot of the place!
Ideally located in the heart of La Bourboule, the hotel is just opposite the Parc Fenestre (a perfect setting for beautiful photos) and a stone's throw from shops and restaurants.

We had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager, who warmly welcomed us and offers affordable rates for CanthroFur attendees. The hotel is easily accessible by car and has plenty of free parking spaces available right in front of the building.
Room rates:
- Double room (140x200 bed): 99 €/night
- Twin room (two 90 cm beds): 99 €/night
- Double room (160x200 bed): 119 €/night
- Quadruple room (one 160x200 bed and two 90 cm beds): 159 €/night
Sweet breakfast:
- 12 € per person/day
⚠️ City tax: The rates indicated by the hotel do not include the city tax. This tax must be paid directly to the hotel upon your arrival.
How to book?
Booking is done directly with Hôtel ChezJeanne and not through CanthroFur.
⚠️ You must specify that you are coming for the CanthroFur event to benefit from these rates.
⚠️ IMPORTANT - Exceptional opening: Hôtel ChezJeanne is normally closed at this time of the year and is opening its doors specifically for our event! Therefore, to definitively validate the opening, the establishment must reach a minimum of 10 booked rooms.
If you are among the first requests, the hotel will reply by email to inform you that your booking is pending this quota. Once the 10-room target is reached, the hotel will contact you again with all the necessary information to proceed with the payment and confirm your stay.

How to reach the convention?
By car
A car is highly recommended to facilitate your travel between the hotel and the VTF. Many free parking spaces are available in front of the hotel.
Carpooling between attendees is strongly advised to share trips between the hotel and the convention venue.
Arrival Shuttle — Laqueuille Train Station → VTF
For attendees arriving by train, a CanthroFur shuttle is provided to facilitate their arrival.
Line P46
Line P46 allows you to reach Laqueuille train station from La Bourboule.
Departure in La Bourboule:
Église Stop, Boulevard Clemenceau
or SNCF Train Station
Arrival:
Laqueuille Train Station
From Laqueuille station, you can request the CanthroFur shuttle (the canthrobus haha :p). The method for requesting the shuttle will be communicated before the event.
⚠️ This shuttle is only planned for the Laqueuille Train Station → VTF route during arrivals.
Schedules will be communicated by CanthroFur.
Special Shuttle — Ski Event
An additional shuttle will be set up on the days of the ski event.
- VTF → La Bourboule → Mont-Dore Ski Resort
- Mont-Dore Ski Resort → La Bourboule → VTF
This shuttle will facilitate travel for attendees staying at Hôtel ChezJeanne.
Schedules will be communicated before the event.
Returning to the hotel
Outside of CanthroFur shuttle hours, no permanent transportation is provided between the VTF and Hôtel ChezJeanne.
Carpooling is strongly recommended.
⚠️ Accommodation at the VTF
For organizational reasons, it is not possible for people staying off-site to sleep at the VTF. Please plan your return to the hotel after the activities.
A space to dry your gear
Hôtel ChezJeanne graciously provides a dedicated room for drying gear: skis, fursuits, etc.
A much-appreciated gesture after a day on the slopes.
